Research & Development

The main focus of our work is the applied research and development for small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of composite materials. In order to increase the competitivness of companies we would like to contribute to industrial product and method innovations. We are able to cover numerous fields of expertise because of our strategic cooperation with universities and other research institutes.

With more than 60 successfully accomplished research and development projects we have established ourselves as an acknowledged research partner in areas such as machine construction, measurement technology, vehicle technology (Road & Rail) and aircraft construction.

Our combination of skilled workers and extensive equipment enables the realization of creative ideas to practically oriented prototypes.

Generally it is possible to apply for government aid to support reasearch and development projects. Because of or many years of research and development activities we are familiar with most of the development programs (Euro-Norm ZIM, SAB, etc.) and support our project partners in applying for financial assistance as well as in preparing project applications. Of course, we inform you about possible cooperation and work out suitable research topics with you.

Technology development for visible carbon parts from thermoplastic prepregs (so-called organic sheets). In this project a technology is worked out that builds the foundation for batch production of visible carbon parts on a thermoplastic basis. For this reason the range of applications of thermoplastic prepregs on formed components with a high surface quality visible, optically impeccable material structure can be extended.
